What’s the success rate of running a tyre like a Wire Ardent Kevlar EXO with latex sealant?

Also how big do the current 2.25 size up? Still ‘Maxxis’ small?

    Thanks

Bigger than old Maxxis 2.35s. No idea about the wire version but no problems here with the folding one. That goes for any Maxxis tyre I’ve tried.

I’ve been running a minion exo folding bead tubeless for about 6 months without issue. Burped a couple of non-exo doing DH @ FoD but no probs with exo.
Size wise they do seem to be nearer the stated size.

Always had good results myself -singleply and dualply minions and swampies, wire and foldy, and just done an ardent foldy which went on and up beautifully, like it was tubeless ready.

Didn’t measure it but it looks 2.25-ey.

100% Running on XM 719’s here measures 2.5 across the tread on those rims and about the same on 721’s

Normally have good results with Maxxis non-tubeless but been having real problems with the Larsen TT’s I took delivery of last Friday.

Inflated fine, but has a very slow leak and nothing I’ve tried stops it.

    ’tis a one off though.
