They look right for a rear if they’re big and tough enough, kinda like a Conti Xking?… hopefully last longer than a fortnight though. Any users?

    Oh yeah cheers 🙂
Could be a winner…until I find its achilles heel and chuck it on the shed pile with all the other ‘winners’ 😀

Rode a 26 x 2.25 on the front for the first time last week. I like.

Light, width & volume like a 2.35 Minion, good grip, low rolling resistance 🙂

I was hoping the volume would be the same as the other 2.25 Maxxis ie Ardent, Advantage etc. If its 2.35 Minion, Highroller size its too small – pants!

I was previously running Ardents 29 x 2.25 (in the dry) and replaced the front with a Beaver 29 x 2.25 and would say the volume is the same.

Look at the Geax Datura if you want that kind of volume; On-One are doing them for peanuts:

Cheers Warns, I’m a 26erer though should still apply I guess.
Those Geax look draggy as hell househusband bit weighty too

Have 29er version on back of a SS, very grippy, minimal slippage when out of saddle, not the fastest rolling however I suppose it’s not intended to be. Would heartedly recommend.
