Recently got an Alpine 160 with a maxle on the rear wheel (never had one before) and whilst I do it up tight (as per the instructions and when that fails a little tighter!) It keeps coming loose. For example rode afan t'other week and it came loose by the bottom of the descents there. Its getting a little annoying as its the only thing on the whole bike thats not perfect. Any ideas?

From what i can tell from looking at ones that work and ones that dont (like yours) the key difference is the driveside nut on the end of the QR, its nice and tight (on the QR alxe) on the ones that dont work loose. Id suggest stripping and cleaning the axle and greasing it all up as you put it back together, with the exception of the thread the nut goes onto which wants loctited. Make sure you grease the outer of the nut where it sits in the Maxle-axle.

What STATO said, a good coating of grease on the wedges in the axle generally sorts it out.
In most front Maxles the assembly needs nipping up to finger tight on the non-lever side before you move the lever so that the wedges will expand properly. On the maxle rears I think the same thing is a small allen-key behing the lever. If this is not at the correct tighetness then the expander bolts will not engage peopely and even if the maxle is threaded into the frame correctly then the wheel will feel loose.
