Anyone using a Crossride wheelset and managed to set them up tubeless?
If so what did you use and was it straight forward or a nightmare?
    Thanks in advance

Not quite the same but I’ve just put the Crossmax Quest and Charge XL on a pair of Enve rims which I can testify cause difficulties with most tyres, but the Mavic tyres were no problem at all and went on with my bare ‘ands (in a pirate voice).

Plenty of washing up solution on the rim and bead and then made sure the first bead was well and truly sitting in the sunken middle well of the rim. When I came to put the second bead on I made sure most of that was also in the middle well before using two hands to push the last section over the rim.

Added the Stans via the valve after removing the core and they went straight up with a track pump with the bead popping in the rim almost straight away.

Set my crossride 26″ up tubeless. Used gorilla tape and valve. Because of the deep mid section it’s had to get them to seat from the off, even with a compressor. Using the ‘put a tube in first to get it to seat then carefully removing tube from one side without unseating the other’ technique it works fairly well with most brands. Continental were a complete pig though!
Different to crossmax which I found I could blow up tubeless with a track pump as they’re designed to, but YMMV

Well worth it though so good luck!

Set mine up with superstars tape and used Spesh 2bliss tyres. Seated with an Airshot and haven’t had any problems.

    Stans rim tape for me.

Theres a bit of a knack to getting the initial seating (soapy water spray and squish tyre into rim at valve), but i find the specialised tyres seat well.

Yup, some 3M tape from eBay and a pair of valves. The only thing I did in prep was to fit the tape then re fit the tube and inflate. This seated the tire nicely, just un seat one bead to remove the tube, put the jollop in then refit the bead.

Went up no trouble with track pump, half the work is already done!

Oh yeah, 29er with the mavic tire system tires.
