Thanks,
those will do nicely then.
cartridge
however the freehub has a bush inboard which when worn will effectively 'write off' your rear wheel
you buying some posh new wheels just to put me to shame you sod?
maybe, my rears egg shaped now!
you need to learn how to land properly.....
SOOB - Is that bush non-replaceable? I just bought replacement bearings but that sounds like a real PITA
far as im aware it requires a new freehub, which aint cheap.
after two bearing replacements, the second of which i am convinced was neither required or even beneficial and several 'clean outs' i have condemed the rear wheel to an emergency spare. I wouldnt sell it on even though it would be apparently fine for a couple of weeks use.
front wheel was fine, used for over two years and 100% maintenance free.
There's some dude in America who makes aftermarket replacement bushes. Much much cheaper than a whole freehub and I think he does oil seals for the same. Not sure what his contact details are but I'm pretty sure he trades on ebay.
Thanks for the info, I will check that out.
My rear is 2 years old now with a serious wobble.
