  • Mavic CrossRide 135mm rear hub bushes?

i have just bought a set of Mavic Crossride wheels and ( stupidly) didn’t read my bike spec properly……

I have a Giant Anthem X2 29er…. which I am told has a 135mm rear hub…… but the Maviv wheels I bought are 142mm. They were brand new, but taken off a bike that was unused as the wheels were upgraded from new.

Looking at the Mavic Web site from new it looks they would have been supplied with two different spacers from new according to whether they are going to be used as 135 or 142??

Mine have a red bush fitted each side which I have removed….. so now I need to track down the bushes ( which I believe are grey? ) so that I can fit the wheels?

So….. does anyone have any of the correct bushes ( presumably spare if they were using the red 142 bushes! ? ) or can point me in the direction of anyone who may stock the bushes?

And also the converter to 9mm QR???

What year are they? I have Crossride 29 discs, the 2012/13 ones.

My understanding is that you just remove the red end caps to get to 135mm.

Your QR conversion would then need the same QR converters as most of the Crossmax range – this should show what you need

If you do have the same wheels as me, this video might see you right…
