    Hi all,

Im in the market for a new fork,I have sold my Tora 289 u-turn,to heavy at 2400 grams (5.3lb) and I dont use the u-turn function.I want a reliable fork have owned Fox,manitou and rock shox over the years.
I ride mostly xc and trails,Im not a weight weenie I prefere a fork to track and not flex so a couple of hundred grams between a light fork and a medium weight fork dosent phase me.

I own a 2008 Mongoose amasa elite all mountain.

And a Rock lobster 853,this is my fast bike 80mm Rock Shox Recon, and 3 pound lighter than the Goose.
The Mongoose is my fun bike for trail centres etc,and mostly sees the winter through.

Now Ive seen a Marzocchi mx pro LO for £150 and can get it in either 100mm or 120mm,2009 model, open bath damping and coil/air assist,we all know its a great fit and forget fork.
But I can also get a new 2010 Marzocchi 44 rlo 100mm for £150,thing is its almost the same axle to crown for both forks,Id happy to lose 20mm of stroke for a better fork, the 44 is branded as the "new fork to replace the MX Pro" So your thoughts please.

Mx pro link,2009 was a UK only fork not on Marz website might have been OEM,so heres the 2008 model.
