Hi, anyone know anything about the forks in the title? They come on a bike I am considering but the description on CRC for these puts them as been used for jumps, 4x, and all that fancy stuff when I just want them for XC. Will they be suited?

No they are dirt jump forks. Heavy solid and stiff. If they come on the bike its probably not as xc bike either

The Inbred is a decent frame for longer trail rides such as SDW isn’t it? I was under the impression that the $%^ was the more aggressive frame type. If my assumption here is correct it appears an odd fork choice for a bike shop to use on an Inbred?

$%^ = Inbred, no idea what happened there.

You can use them for xc, but as said, they are heavy, stiff and really only designed for one hit at a time (like landing a jump).

Sounds like the shop has just whacked on whatever they had lying around rather than thinking about it
