    Hi all,

Has anybody got any experience in bleeding the DBC in the Marzocchi forks?

I have the 350cr but understand that the process will be similar across all the Marzocchi forks that use the Dynamic Bleed Cartridge.

I’ve serviced the lowers before but would like to go a bit further this time.

    Anybody done this??

    cheers,

    Sean

If it the one from a 350cr I wouldn’t bleed it like that
You need to bleed it like you would a charger in a pike

Can you explain why not? I’ve bled mine like that 3 or more times and the fork works great after each one.

Are you sure you have the dynamic cartridge with the bladder Steve ?
It’s just you are supposed to bleed it from the top whilst dynoing the whole unit as one
It will work ok if you do it your way but you won’t get a completely air free bleed and you will have a bit of a dead spot at the top of the stroke

I have a tube like the video which the rebound rod fixes into and the compression assembly pushed into the top. It’s a dbc fork (had stickers and everything!) but in the years I’ve had it I’ve never heard of them having a bladder… no dead feeling at the start of stroke either.
