Have reserved a set of 350CRs but just noticed a set of Mattoc Experts at a similar price. They any better?

Haven’t ridden the Mattocs, but I’m about 5 rides into my CR350s and they are getting plusher and bedding in nicely. Very stiff, and the adjustable compression on the right leg works well for climbing.

I have been looking at these too having been disappointed with my pikes.

I imagine when the manitou’s settings have been dialled in they should be extremely good forks. The damping is supposed to be very good along with the air spring. A few reliability issues from the sounds though.

The good things with the marzocchi is the 3 year guarantee and the reported plushness but again possible reliability issues (seems most forks have problems here and there these days).

I think I would try the manitous for the performance and damping technology but that three year guarantee does go a long way.
