Just looking for contents to cover my newly rented flat.

Got a quote online, for both standard and premium cover.

I've chosen the optional cover for away from home, which obviously covers any singular item upto £4,000 when used out of the house.

But is it (in anyone's experience) worth the extra for the premium cover? Including accidental damage?

I got it merely because it was only an extra £20 or so. I think even the standard cover has an element of accidental cover though.

    put it this way
if you take your £4k bike on holiday, crash it and damage it, phone M&S up when you get home and they will buy you a new frame

Thats got to be worth it?

it's a valid point, but, for me it's probably more likely i'll drop my laptop or spill a drink all over it or something.

I'll see what i can get the quote down to, as with mine it's nearly £200 a year more expensive (from the online quotes, which seams incredibly inconsistent)
