"Only Slightly similar to One Man and His Dog. A frog handler demonstrates his frog's abilities around an obstacle course while Mark narrates. Frogging expert Scroff Crudle is there to give his expert opinion on the events. Frogging used to be a male only event, but at this years Annussol it has been made into a mixed event. The Annussol is the most important event in the frogging calender, followed closely by the Pepto-Bismol."

    Geez, those guys were geniuses.
Radio 1 breakfast show's glory days (literally days) for sure!
Lucky enough to have a driving job where I was always on the drive home when they were on in the afternoon too.

If so, it's only because I ducked out the way to avoid it. 😀

    Skinning the Competition……ALIVE.
I still look back on M+L as probably the best radio ive ever heard. A very 'Northern' sense of humour, utterly lost on anyone south of the Peak District. Quite how they got away with the sheer filth that was Fat Harry, and his Bedford Rascal i'll never know….
When you think of the talentless guff on Radio One these days (thats you Fearne Cotton, Greg James, Matt Edmondson, Dev, etc) it makes you realise just how good, but misunderstood they were. Genius.

    STOP. Carry On.

Speaking as someone who lives in Wiltshire I think you'll find the humour translates very well. I remember being out in the car returning from a client visit listening to M&L doing 'Slim and Shady', and actually having to pull over for ten minutes 'cos I honestly couldn't see where I was going I was laughing so much. Brilliant humour, the likes of Moyles and Lamb are rank amateurs, with heavy emphasis on the word 'rank'.

Moyles- what a fat 'kin waster with his little band of simpering puffs.

Mark and Lard were wasted on radio 1. To get Harry White broadcast at peak times was simply genius.

    Oh here we go…

Utter bollocks. M+L's humour was very British, with 'Northern' colloquialisms. I've never ventured byond the M25*, and I got it. 😀

Ah Moyles, used to follow M+L. After listening a couple of times, the radio would get switched over as soon as M+L's show ended. Chris Moyles' show was just completely shit.
