Do you know if you can change a set of maxle rear dropouts for quick release dropouts on a Rocksprings 2008 ?

If this is the 140mm 'new' type frame, I believe you can, as I thought the cheaper versions of the complete bike came with QR.

All 140mm Marins came with Maxle dropouts, but they are interchangeable with Q/R dropouts as featured on the 120mm Mount Vision bikes.

yeah a couple of the boys in work did this to let them run tubeless wheelsets they already had that weren't convertable.

we usually have them in stock, not cheap at £19.99 a side though but you can probably get more than that for the bit's you're taking off

I've got a Rock Springs, it's one hell of a bike.

I've no idea how much difference the maxle makes to rear end stiffness, but it feels bombproof in stock form.

You might find someone will swap their QR ones for the Maxle ones as the 120mm Marin makes a wicked fun bike with pikes and a maxle rear end!
