    I was told by tf tuned a manitou spring would not fit my 2007 ish vanilla shock (without the piggy back) thats on my sons norco b line 24. Something to do with the spring diameter…

    as above, iirc the id of the Manitou will be too wide for the old Vanilla. However, you might find that it sits on the spring retainer enough to get away with it. I know people used to run like this and never heard of anyone actually having an issue
