Just got myself an Orbea Loki 27.5+ and I was looking around for a new fork and came across the Manitou Magnum, anyone have much experience with one or has heard much about them? Had a look around but can’t seem to find much info.

Fantastic fork! Basically Dorado internals complete with hydraulic bottom out. I prefer the one I have on my Stache (replaced the weedy fork that came on it) to the pikes on my fulll suss.

The Pro is meant to be alright. Avoid the Comp if you’re a suspension tart – it doesn’t offer any midstroke support, to the point that a normal bike rider like me can feel it.

Yeah it’s the pro I’m looking at. £560 for a brand new 140mm fork compared to a set of £700 pikes, very tempted. Got a set of Rekons on at the minute and I’m not a fan!

I’ve been looking at the X-Fusion McQueen as a reasonably priced alternative. Seems to be well thought of with the HLR damper.
