    I posted a while back about moving back up North and have just signed the contract, yay. Seriously excited about the riding opportunities 🙂

    But where to live? I'll be working in Salford Quays and I go the the gym after work 3 times/week and I'm a member of Virgin so I'll be going home via Deansgate.

    Chorlton has been recommended as really nice, with good bars and that. Although I'm not so bothered about local social life so long as there's somewhere half decent nearby.
    Sale and Altrincham I'm told are good and houses are cheaper. I'm after a 2-bed terrace, nothing flash or too big tbh. But bike storage is key! And easy and quick to get into town and work.
    Any thoughts?

    The 3 places you list have a very different vibe. You need to look at them and see what suits.

    Have you considered North Manchester?
