Been donkeys years since I’ve been round that way, where’s best to park for an evening gig with quick getaway?

Also a spot of food before hand… Where?

    Cheers!

Park on the old Strangeways car park. Dirt ground directly opposite the entrance to the multi-storey. If you stand as if you’ve just driven out of the arena it’s left, right, right.

the Northern Quarter is a short walk away, loads of options like Solita, Evuna, trof, the curry houses if they are still open

or even closer is the printworks which is mostly chain restaurants you know but nothing that bad, wagamama is always good for quick and relatively healthy – or the corn exchange, for more of the same

Depending on the time your gig or show starts, parking is free on street in the northern quarter after 8pm, usually plenty of space round Newton street and then it’s a 10 min walk to the arena.
