I enjoyed watching that, thanks. It reminded me of a few audax rides, although he’s obviously one of the hard men made in the (George Berwick) ‘McNasty’ mould! I imagine it would be even more enjoyable to watch if not solely relying on the English subtitles.

Sadly, I learnt that Patrick Plaine was killed while riding his bike a short distance from his home at the age of 70. Apparently he had cycled 1,700,000km…
