Sad way to go with Dementia. He’ll be missed but the music will go on.

Awe, shame.. but he hasn’t been very well for years.

Hope he got to play just one more chord before he de-strung his guitar 😐

Shame – coming for some time now and must have been tough for his family. Dementia was is a bastard.

Me as well I think Angus sums it up well

“As his brother it is hard to express in words what he has meant to me during my life, the bond we had was unique and very special. He leaves behind an enormous legacy that will live on forever. Malcolm, job well done.”

Got my first albums back in 1986 – first band’s music I liked rather than whatever song happened to drift through my transom.

Same here. One of the greatest rhythm players (and writers) in the history of the electric guitar.

Sad day ..saw the original band with Bon Scott back in the 70’s at the Mayfair,Newcastle ..although I can’t say that I was a massive fan I did like their music ..
Malcolm was the glue that held it all together ..

Heard “Let there be Rock” on Springbok Radio back in ’77 – listened to them ever since. I’ve seen them live more than a dozen times and never seen a bad performance.

As much as Angus is the focus of the band, Malcolm was the driving force behind everything – business wise and music wise.

Angus often said Malcolm was the “better guitarist”.
