Had my maintenance mishap last night. It was late and I was tired.
Just getting road bike ready for ride in to work after washing (first time for a while) and refitting and drying chain that I had taken off to clean. All was done. Just needed a lube. I thought I would give it a quick spray with Gt85 before oiling the chain. I aimed the can at the rear mech and cassette . A load of foam rushed out all over cassette mech and wheel. Darn it! What a mess. I had picked up the Wasp nest destroyer I had bought for our loft a few years ago. Next time I will put the glasses on ! !

I once reached for a can of aerosol rubbing compound, to take a wee scratch out of the tail of my motorbike, and accidentally picked up a can of black spray paint. Imagine my delight.

Blimey that spray paint on your motorbike is bad. Mine was funny rather than spoiling anything. just wasted kitchen roll and had my daughter laughing.
