    Hi,
Got a Magura louise FR (06?) brake thats not been used much, no play in the levers, but the lever has stopped returning after pulling it in towards the bars. Is there a spring mechanism thats failed/ is replaceable or is it something more serious?
    (Otherwise the brake works fine).
Any help / advice appreciated. Ta

    a bleed should cure this.

I had exactly the same brakes and problem.
I solved the problem by pumping the brake lever to the bar and slowly letting it return, before it comes all the way back pump the brake lever again, repeat until it starts to firm up. (this could take 20+ pumps)

It will eventually but once it firms up and the feel returns the brakes will need bleeding.

Just for the sake of anyone with a similar problem.
Bled the system, worked fine, then began to fade again. Found a tiny crack in the reservoir cover that meant the system was losing compression. Put a different cover on + brakes work a treat.
    Thanks again folks.
