I don’t seem to be able to bleed my front Louise FR as good as I can bleed my rear…

The lever, after bleeding it, still feels less firm than the rear one.

They stop you alarmingly well, the lever doesn’t go all the way to the bars and with a pump it does firm up, it just doesn’t feel as firm as the rear.

    Any tips?

Mine don’t feel as firm as, say, the XTs I’ve got on the other bike, but they stop you fine. Have you taken the pads out and put the little plastic wedge in? If not you could end up with a bit less fluid overall in the brake. There might also be some air hiding in there, try tapping the hose as you bleed to coax it out.

I found to bleed mine properly I needed to wind out the reach adjuster to fully open the lever, bleed then adjust back, otherwise mine did the same as yours iirc The magura forum is good for problems
