hi all, the front brake on my bike seems to have become rather spongy and the lever is now touching the bars before the brakes pull up. One of the pistons was lightly seized and the above problem has occured after "working" the piston back and forth.
Looks like i need to bleed the brakes, whats involved-no bleed nipple on caliper so will have to purchase one, blank fiitted to one side of caliper!

Do you pull lever into bars then release fluid from caliper, lock bleed nipple then release lever- conventional or are these systems different???

TBH you'd be best buying the proper Magura bleed kit. You need syringes to do the job properly and the correct fluid. The kits come with all this and aren't that expensive. They make it an easy job.

They also come with lots of other useful bits and bobs!

you will want the bleed kit, for the nipple.

push fluid into the caliper and remove from the reservoir
