Argh! How difficult is it to find a simple answer to a simple question. What is the warranty on Magura forks?

Nothing online.

The Thors failed at the weekend – I guess it is the rebound or damping cartridge because when they spring back from a compression they do so at speed and with a bang! They’ve also wept oil right from the start but I always assumed it’s part of the design. And they’ve only done about 150 miles since new so not many miles at all to get too concerned…until this w/e!

They’re 2010 and were bought in December 2009 from On-one. Spoke to the warranty guy there and I’m sending him an email detailing the problem with a copy of the receipt and he’ll look into it. Apparently this order falls just outside the introduction of their new order system, great.

In parallel I’m simply trying to understand what the manufactures’s warranty is to know where I stand.

Anyone dealt with Magura warranty on forks?

He’s the UK Magura fork specialist. He’ll know about warranties, and be able to fix them.

Yep speak to Mike, he knows his stuff and is the man who’ll be doing the work if its a warranty job.

2 year warranty on Magura forks I think, mine were about 15 months old when I had to send them back.

All in hand now although those sly dogs at Magura state that the 2yr warranty is only valid when you have a 12 month service done on the forks!

Therefore the lower leg service is going to be done regardless…

I had mine serviced with Mike, ended up with almost new forks under warranty – good service.
