For those that need to know I’ve found a clear guide to doing a complete full DIY service on Magura Durin forks. This takes things one step further than just whipping off the lowers cleaning and reinstaling

    Looks simple enough.

Does anyone know who stocks the Suspension blood, preferably online?

Thanks that is useful. Any idea where to find the oil damper volumes?

I think Magura sell blood direct.

You can get oil volumes for each model year from the Service/Downloads bit of Magura’s website.

I couldn’t find a source for VMS68 oil when I first looked – a bit of googling revealed it’s just a fairly high weight fork oil, so I used some 20 wt and it’s been fine. Think it’s supposed to be 30wt, but I’ve had no issues at all.

I’m currently running some 40wt motor oil in the legs (and air chamber) of my Menjas – seems to be working so far, but it’s only been in a fortnight…
(Also, the video here is a good instruction for the minor service.)

Just spoke to Magura UK who suggest that you go through a dealer to order supension blood

I’m also using Silkolene fork oil with no problems whatsoever.
And it’s a nice red colour.
