You can see him pocket the first deck and then return it so that’s the pack swap done before it went into Penn’s hand sandwich. Then I imagine he slips the picked card back into the new pack once it’s been opened but before it goes to Penn’s hands?

Most ‘tricks’ are so easy to do when you have the right bits of gear it’s laughable.
