    to make my decking safe and clean .
    tis slippier than the ice it was covered in last week with the green slime .

    pressure washer shifts it but is there owt to stop it coming back .

    varnish and then scatteer with sand whilst wet – you can use a flour sifter for this – you may be able to mix it with the varnish as well – used on boat to make areas grippy no ideea if useful on wood. It is impossible to keep clean once done though and goes a dark colour so aesthetically poor I suspect – test an area first?
    Can be washed with a stiff brush

    Seal with a decking sealant once cleaned. And clean using anti-fungal cleaners. Tis a pain and ours is the same – was halfway through cleaning it when the snow/frost came.

    I’ve inadvertently done the splits a few times on mine whilst cleaning my bike (wearing flip flops doesn’t help either). The varnish + sand sounds like the most low maintenance option…
