  • Macbook Pro 2016 vs 2015 – Worth it?

Time for me to update my 13″ retina macbook for work and I fancy a 15″ this time as I’m spending more time on the road. Stormfront have the 2015 15″ macbook at £1900 and the 2016 (with touchbar) at £2300 for the cheaper model. Is it a £400 upgrade or is it not worth it?

I’m fairly happy with my macbook it’s never had an issue and the battery has been great, but I haven’t got time to try out the new one before ordering so need to take a punt!

Personally I’d go for the ’15 model as I need the ports, however the ’16 model’s touchbar is a nice innovation if your apps support it well. Plus the fingerprint reader saves a few keystrokes.

Spec wise, there’s not much in it.

take this with a pinch of salt, the rumor sites are hinting that there is a refresh in a few weeks.
