Ive not long been using a Mac and after an app which would allow me to backup about 60 small video files maybe 5 – 10 mins long from a flip mini video to DVD.

Im not sure of the format as its for a elderly family member and I don’t have it yet. He’s filled the flip up and wants them all putting on a DVD.

He preferably wants them with a menu and thumbnails.

Can anyone recommend me an app which would allow me to do this on a Mac?

    Many thanks

Does your mac even have a DVD writer?

If it does it already has iDVD.

Do they have a modern TVs with a USB port? That might be more elderly relative proof and longer lasting. The DVD will be powder in 10 years.

Handbrake is the standard app for compressing video / switching formats. As above iDVD will write discs if thats what you want and have a drive.
