  • M7000 crank – do you need the MT800 BB?

    As above really, I’ve just ordered a new SLX crankset to replace the older one which is knackered – I’d blame my LBS but I think I did it, anyway,

    3 month old ring won’t transfer over… that’s a shame… £30 for an asymmetrical one…

    Seems the BB design has changed too, I’ve got a decent one in and a fresh ‘en on the shelf… do they work with the old HTII BBs?

    New SLX stuff – m7000 is same as XT m8000, 94BCD for chainrings. BB is same as always, I don’t even know what BB i’m running on my nomad with the XT m8000 cranks
