My Halogen lamps are on their way back from Lumicycle without the battery cos it was knackered, I have a light set up for myself but need the Lumis for the odd time my son or partner come out on a night ride, is there a cheap alternative battery (laptop etc) that will do if so where from, or would i just be better off selling the lamps etc and getting a P7…

A lead acid 12v 2.4Amp/h battery from maplins or the like for around £20.
Or search out 5mudge on here for a direct Lumi replacement. (mine was £35 18months ago.

Talk to Smudge off this forum, he’ll make you a battery pack to your spec for roughly half the price of a Lumicycle one. Very nice guy, very efficient and nicely finished batteries as well.
