My Thomson stem (40mm) is a little high for my short steerer. I've tried a Race Face Ride xc which is 39mm and works a little better as the hole in the inner front of the stem is smaller, but some fo that is still exposed, and I'd ideally like something shorter.

On my last thread on this topic it came out that some FSA stems have 35mm stack heights, would the 190 below do so?

TIA – I don't want to return the Race Face if it is the lowest I can get.

Bah! I thought you could ask CRC a question but they seem to have removed the option!

Cheers Steve, different pic but the description is correct I think.

OK FSA is here. It's 40mm but the "hole" at the inside front is a lot smaller and so there's more reinforcement – RF is going back!
