I am, it looked a bit mad. No chance for course practice so a total surprise too ! I am planning on using a road bike with MTB shoes and pedals, I don’t even own any flats. Expect to see some Olympic standard mincing and bike carrying. Tires at 140 psi, in for a penny etc.

Sadly not, was planning to do it but going to the doctors instead to get them to inspect the shoulder that I smashed into a tree a fortnight ago in the Pentlands, doesn’t seem to be getting much better. Figured dodgy shoulder, especially on my “carrying” arm was not going to fare well in a CX race.

I expect there’ll be some Olympic standard cursing too.
