Can anyone explain in really plain english how I find or change this, its on a NETGEAR wireless router, I have goggled it but can't find one that makes sense. I think I may have inadvertantley done a factory reset on the router as well.

You;'ll need to do a factory reset on purpose and then the password is usually on the bar-code sticker on the unit itself, but if not just log in over a wired connection and change it to something you know.

Don't you just use the cable and then key in a new one, like on set-up?

if you've done a factory reset then as above, follow the instructions on the link below for logging onto the router and reset the wireless password yourself.

You may well also need to re-populate all your ISP details too though.
