Burns you could tolerate on your chest maybe but on your balls?
I would use an electric trimmer with the blade set back as much as possible and then finish off by gillette razor with sensitive shaving cream.
Are you a roadie? hell I'd wouldn't shave my legs let alone balls.

Most Muslim men and women shave their bits, it's not a big deal, you won't turn into a pumpkin at midnight, it's like a haircut....
