I need to call on the wisdom of STW.

I’m selling my truck soon and moving to a company insured, and paid for van. I’m insured on the wifes car but only as an additional driver on her insurance.

I’ve got around 9 years NCB on my insurance policy. Will I lose this by having no car insurance in my name? Does it stay at 9 years and I can pick it back up again if I insure a personal vehicle in the future?

    Cheers

I think you keep it for 2 years and then it gets a bit hazy depending on the company you deal with.

Bit more info on this thread.
