    what should i look for/ask about? never looked at a new place before..seems ok in a nice village,very quiet etc.

    currently in a city centre flat above a bar so anything would be an improvement!

    Take a friend who has absolutely no emotional attachment to you buying it for dispassionate feedback. You will miss loads of stuff when you're walking round.
