    Hi,
I ride a Stanton Sherpa and those of you who know Stantons will know that the current batch have rear dropout spacing of 145mm, allowing it to flex in or out by 3mm to take standard 142 or boost 148 hubs, which is pretty neat.
However, my problem is that I not only do I want to run a boost hub, I also want to run it singlespeed. horizontal swop outs allow this but now my qr skewer is too short. Does anyone know of a longer 5mm skewer that will fit the bill? When I ran 29″wheels with 142 hubs I used a DT Swiss RWS skewer because it’s super strong and stops the wheel slipping without the need for chain tugs.
    Thanks

    Fat bike.

Some racks (e.g. Blackburn Outpost) come with a long skewer which can be bought separately.

(The dimensions on that page are incorrect. IIRC it’s actually 190mm)

Yes but I’d rather avoid that.

Scotroutes – I’ll look into that one thanks, glad you said it’s 190 not 290, that would be ridiculous. I actually need it to be about 170 but maybe I could cut it down.

I extended the threads on one and then cut a bit off. That was to fit a rack to a set of forks.

170mm is fatbike size. Hope do one.

Will they do you? Or am I really that tired that I’ve not read the question right?
There’s a dimension sheet on the page to check.
