I need my kitchen tiling and would like to employ the services of someone to do such as task. Don’t suppose anyone has anyone they’d recommend?

And if not, how the hell do you identify a good one from a bad one? My usual route of recommendations from friends as fallen somewhat flat.

Where Midlands? I’m based Leicestershire, if that’s any good ping me an email if you like, pretty busy at minute though.

Blazin-saddles, West Midlands indeed, between Brum and Kidderminster.

Too far for me then I’m afraid.

As to what to look for…

past jobs, get references and follow up, not just pictures as I’ve seen people use other folks stock photo’s for their own CV.

Don’t pay too little unless it’s come on recommend, £25-30 is the going rate for walls. if much cheaper then ask why.

if they can start straight away then alarm bells are ringing, I’m currently booked almost solid until January.

Thanks Houns, I’ll try him and see if it’s his kind of thing.
