hello all,
most frames use 200×57 mm shocks ,but from my own experience longer shocks perform a lot better in rough DH stuff. Bikes I know about using longer shocks YT Capra ,Transition Patrol , Banshee Rune. What other frames out there that I dont know about? Please tell if you know. (looking for 216mm or 220mm)

2016 Canfield balance uses a 216mm shock.

I’d have said 216×63 was more the norm for a 160mm bike – I always avoided anything shorter, ‘cos I’m a big lump.

Surely it’s the second number that’s the stroke, like 63mm? Or does eye to eye length always go hand in hand with shock stroke?

Original Ibis HD (and R) used 215×63..
