Pride from a can. Tut tut.

Now I’m fairly partial to a well kept pint of pride, but not a pasteurised one out of a metal can

    Urgh

Hairy, you ignorant philistine, read my post above. Fosters and Pasteurised Pride are both piss poor drinks. A cask conditioned pride is a different matter.

Always tasted like watered-dowm ESB to me

I could smell the brewery whilst cycling in to work yesterday morning, I guess they’d opened the lid first thing.
    I prefer this

Been a while since I lived in the smoke, it was just Chiswick, Pride and ESB in my day (bring out the pipe and slippers)

Didn’t even though it came in cans what an insult.

Yeah Graeme Wylam beers are rather nice and very handy for you.

Ooh, if we’re on the subject of Fullers, for me it has to be 1845, slides down with no effort and tastes fantastic at every stage. I LOVE it! My cupboard is fully stocked too, as it was 2 for £3 in Sainsburys recently. London Porter is a close second.

Not a patch on Youngs Bitter especially from a tin

At least its not that foul liquid known as Greene King IPA or even worse anything from the Charles Wells collection

Youngs Bitter especially from a tin

    sick man.

Beer comes in barrels from whence it’s transferred to a glass. No less.

In desperation some bottle conditioned beers are not horrible. Youngs “Wandsworth Grey Water” isn’t one of them. 🙂

Indeedy, just down the road (it’s actually in Heddon-On-The Wall, but The Boathouse in Wylam is the brewery tap).

I did the brewery tour last weekend, hence the 20 litre beerbox of Red Kite waiting for me at home 😀

I meant Youngs Bitter is far superior than London Pride from a Tin

And Youngs Special is very nice too as is Ramrod
