I’ve got to get from the Inmarsat conference centre to Waterloo station on Monday evening, when the tube strike is on.
Despite my best efforts on the TFL website, I can’t identify a suitable bus route to link the two. A taxi is looking favourite – if there is one to be had (unlikely), or I’ll have to get a bus. Which one please?

A boris bike is another option I should consider perhaps?

All sorted now – thanks 😐

http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/gettingaround/maps/buses/ is rather good, when you work it out.

The building by Old Street tube?

You could walk it to Waterloo in 35-40 mins tops. Buses will be chaos on Monday as will the roads generally if the last strike was anything to go by. The taxi drivers will be out in force (they don’t pass up such a good opportunity to make some cash) but I wouldn’t rely on being able to get one.

Down City Road, over Southwark Bridge then a pleasant stroll along the south bank to Waterloo.
