As i was undoing one of my locking wheel nuts the pattern at the top sheered off. I now have a locking wheel nut on the car that i cant remove…any ideas?

Aye, take it to a decent garage, they’ll have it out no bother. They’re only difficult to remove if you’re the legitimate owner 😉

I’ve got them off in the past by hammering a slightly smaller socket over the locking wheel nut . Knackers the socket though!

There are several tools made for this very issue. Either a trip to your local tyre fitter or search on line for one to buy

It’s rather to easy to remove locking wheels nuts

A suitable irwin bolt remover will extract the stud with ease, any decent garage/mechanic will have a set for such a job

Park the car up in an inner city housing estate, then go off for a coffee somewhere. 😀
