I’m new to this forum business. I’ve been on here a little while now but I mainly browse rather than post. Saw thread get ‘locked’ earlier. What’s that about and why?

Threads get locked when they start getting out of hand, generally.

Start a thread on controversial subjects such as racism, women as sex objects, or whether you should wear a helmet when riding, and it’ll probably get locked quite quickly.
