Henceforth I shall make a point of riding through the above car park just to see the comedy reaction of the car park attendant.

I recommend it to anyone who wants to briefly feel like a naughty child without the expense of hiring a specialised dominatrix.

A few parking spaces on the side of the drive about 300m from the car park.

I believe McMoonter has form in this area.

The attendant works well beyond the call of duty. He’ll never leave his post until you’ve paid, come rain, snow or darkness. He’ll still be waiting.

It wasn’t a money issue. It was the fact that we were riding, not pushing our bikes. Apparently there is a sign. The poor chap seemed to take it quite personally.

I’ve ridden through there lots and never had more than a cheery smile or “hello”. the Mrs and I were up there last summer with the kayak and I was expecting a wee bit of questioning but he was happy to point out the best place to park the van for easy access to the Loch.

Paid to park there last year, I’ve no issue with that.

Handed a £10 to wifie, who handed to the said attendant, who in turn gave change to wifie. Half way round the loch wifie gives me my £10 back and puts more money in here purse. He gave her change of £20. 😉

Must have caught him on a bad day as we got a right telling off.

Took me back to the halcyon days of my youth, scrumping apples, knocking policemen’s helmets off and such like. What larks!
