Following a trail inspection this morning, we are pleased to announce that all trails are open again this morning.

There are still several fallen trees lying across the trail, however these are not deemed to be dangerous. Although you will have to navigate around them, and extra care should be taken.

We do have chainsaw operators in the forest today, working hard to clear all the fallen trees. They will be working on ‘Live’ trail, but will have warning signage in place. Please make sure you follow any instructions given by the signs or forest workers – FOR YOURS AND THEIR SAFETY.

Although the winds have dropped significantly over night, there are still some potentially damaging gusts passing through the forest from time to time, and we ask that if conditions worsen or more trees fall, you report them as soon as possible to the Visitor Centre.
