Any recommendations for either decent campsites near LLandegla or somewhere nice I can park the van and sleep in it peacefully?

There’s a place just up the main road from the Llandegla access road. Looks like a fishery but I think they have a campsite.

Llyn Rhys campsite. Turn left out the entrance to Llandegla centre then left at the x-roads/traffic lights. The campsite is on the left.
We’ve stayed here several times and can recommend it. Probably best to book in the summer months.

+1 Llyn Rhys, good bog/shower block. Carry on up that road and get some Black Bart cider from Rosies cider farm at the traffic island whilst you’re there. Lovely stuff.
