I'll add a bit of reasoning to my post, but feel free just to post a band name, or explain if you want (just one of each per post please though). I may try them both out.
My like is one I've just recently heard on the radio and have listened to a few snippets, so not a definite yet, but I like enough of what I've heard to try the album.
The hate is a toss-up between two that are around at the moment and I just don't get it, yet they get raved about.
