I bought some Rayban sunglasses. They got slightly bent after about a year so I tried to find out if I could get them sent off and sorted out. I was willing to pay for this, not just try and claim it as a warranty repair.
I was told that Rayban have no UK support and so there’s nothing that could be done. Hmmm. Won’t be buying Rayban again.
By contrast a mate trod on his Oakley E-Wires. Phoned Oakley and was told to send them in with a cheque for £17 for a replacement frame. He got them back a week later and the small scratch that had been on one of the lenses wasn’t there either, so pretty sure they just replaced them for £17.
I know where I’ll be spending my money next time I’m looking for some decent glasses.
