  • Limit on the number of times an ad can be reposted in a month?

There’s a certain ad that had been reposted daily in the classifieds for the last few weeks. Is it time to cap the repost frequency? It’s rather annoying seeing it every time I look through, especially when the price never drops and it clearly isn’t selling at its current price.

You should at least be allowed to comment on the thread.

That’s how the classifieds work unfortunately, don’t moan at people for playing by the rules 🙂

Personally I prefer the format of other forums where you can bump your ad to the top once every 24 hrs.

So why aren’t the Mods dealing with the rule breakers then? Theres at least three ads with lazy links that haven’t been deleted as the rules state they will be.
Instead of deleting posts elsewhere for supposed swear filter avoidance, or closing threads for lack of evidence, etc.
Amazing that said posts/threads remain around when it’s the mods who’ve sworn/commented though….

Have you reported the posts? The moderators don’t read every single one.

My experience is that the mods respond quite quickly to reports of classifieds ‘abuse’.

Classifieds seems very slow atm, lots of stuff in there with only 1 post.
Out of interest how many times would be acceptable to repeat an ad?
